I have been Head of RE, Pastoral Lead and Head of PSHE & Citizenship in my 19 year teaching career. I am currently Head of PSHE & Citizenship at a large secondary school 11-18. My shop includes: PSHE and Citizenship sessions, Assemblies, Tutor Time activities SMSC, Fundamental British Values and Religious Education. They are fully resourced RE or Citizenship lessons, worksheets or 15 minute assemblies/tutor time PSHE sessions suitable for 11-18 and some can also be used for younger audiences.

This session is a 10-15 minute PSHE session that can be used as an assembly or as a tutor time whole school pastoral focus. It outlines definitions, the law, issues that arise, tips to help delay sex and sources of support. This has a downloaded video and includes discussion activities, information, where to get support and a plenary quiz. There are no written activities but this can be easily lengthened for a whole PSHE lesson. This is suitable for KS4 and KS5 students (Years 10-13, Ages 14-18) and links to the new RSE and Health Curriculum.

This is a 10-15 minute presentation about personal identity. It was originally a PSHE tutor time session for Year 7 but it is suitable for KS2-KS3 (Years 3 - 9 Ages 7-14). It covers what makes up an identity, gives students the opportunity to think about their own identity and includes a downloaded video so it will never disappear. There are no writing tasks, just discussion questions. It fits with the new RSHE or PSHE curriculum and is suitable for an assembly or whole school session.

This is a 10-15 minute tutor time resource about British Values. It could be used for an assembly or PSHE/Citizenship/FBV/SMSC session. It explains what the five British values are, how these should be implemented, a discussion about universal values, a focus on the first two values. - Democracy and the Rule of Law. There are many discussion tasks and these could be written tasks if you wanted to lengthen it to a whole lesson. There are three short videos that are downloaded so will never disappear. This was originally an assembly for KS3-KS5 but can also be used as a tutor time session for KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5 and is suitable for all year groups (Ages 8-18, Years 4-13). This gives a great overview of British Values and has been positively received by many students.

It was originally planned as a 15 minute PSHE tutor time session for Year 9 but is suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Years 7-13, Ages 11-18) and can be used as an assembly or lengthened easily to last a whole lesson. It links to the new RSE and Health Curriculum and can be a pastoral tutor time activity; it does not contain any writing activities.

It covers what coercive control is, how pupils can recognise it and where to seek support. It is suitable for KS4 or KS5 (Years 10-13, Ages 14-18) students and explains the legal aspects of coercive control. It links to the new RSE and Health Curriculum and can be used in conjunction to my coercive control lesson also in my shop to create a whole unit on this important topic.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly to celebrate and explain My Money Week in June 2022. It is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Year 7-13) as a whole school assembly or tutor time resource. It is also suitable for PSHE & Citizenship sessions. It includes: What My Money Week is What we need to learn about money at school A short video clip about saving (downloaded so it will never disappear) Exploring why people want to be rich 8 important lessons about money (that adults wish they knew as children) A short video clip about social media money scams (downloaded so it will never disappear) Quotes, dual coding and discussion tasks to end It is fully narrated but this can easily be adapted by deleting the icon on each slide if you would prefer it not narrated. This is a two document package. One is a two sided powerpoint giving 60 PSHE tasks for students to do to keep themselves occupied and to learn about some important issues. This was originally used as a resource for when students were in lockdown at home but has been revamped as a resource with 18 tasks for pupils isolating or alternatives for students if they are pulled out of a PSHE lesson for any reason. There is also some mindfulness colouring in case students are struggling with an issue and just need some time out. There are also some links included to Oak Academy lessons that can be done as home learning. You will get both documents here in case you prefer one to the other or need both for the same purposes as I am using them. Suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) and many students have commented about how much they learnt and enjoyed these activities.

his is a 10-15 minute assembly about vaccinations. It is not specifically about Covid 19 vaccinations but more about vaccinations in childhood and in general. However, it could easily be used to cover Covid-19 vaccinations as well. It is suitable for KS3-KS4 (Ages 11-18, Grades 6-13, Years 7-13) and was originally a year 9 tutor time PSHE session. This PowerPoint assembly is fully narrated and covers some guidance for KS3-KS5 pupils about respecting their local community. This is particularly relevant for July 2021 as it goes through the easing of the lockdown restrictions in the UK. It can also be used as a more general tutor time session for PSHE on how to show respect and be kind to others. It includes two videos and two discussion questions at the end. It is 12 minutes in length as a narrated PPoint and then it leaves a few minutes to discuss how they think they can help the local community in the lead up to the Euros, the easing of restrictions and the summer holidays.

It includes why people commit suicide, what are the warning signs and what support is available to support people considering suicide or people who want to help someone else who is having suicidal thoughts. There are three short downloaded videos so they will never disappear and contains discussion activities and no written tasks. It would be easy to lengthen this issue to an hour with this resource using longer debates and written activities. This fits into the new RSHE and the PSHE curriculum and can also be used as a safeguarding session or a one-off whole school assembly.

This is a 10-20 minute assembly about the important issue of homelessness in the UK. It was originally a Year 8 tutor time PSHE session but it can be used as an assembly or easily lengthened for a whole PSHE or Citizenship lesson for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13). It has two downloaded video clips that will never disappear and one centres around StreetLink and the other on homelessness in the UK’s second biggest city, Birmingham. It also includes: Why people become homelessness What can we do to help Number of homelessness children in the UK Streetlink & Birmingham homelessness video The students reacted very positively to this session and began a campaign to raise money for the homeless. This fits into the PSHE, SMSC, FBV and Citizenship Statutory guidance.
